About: Seats/Tachimi System in Nico Nama

collectivethoughtsBEFORE I START: I habitually call the first section of namas the "seating area". Self-named and it stuck. Standing section, seated section, yeah. You'll find that a large majority of people call it the arena.
Firstly, communities can by made any Premium User. Through this, they can hold lives (生放送/namahousou)
Broadcaster's Community Level
Is proportionate to its number of members.
The higher their level is, the more often they're able to hold lives and the more people they're able to hold before they get blockaded out.
Premiums contribute more positively to this limit than free members.
What are the sections? How can I tell which one I'm in?
While in a live, you'll see a ticket on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
If it looks something like this, then you've got yourself a "seat".
If you've got a 立ち見A or B or C instead of co#####, then you're in the "standing areas" A, B or C respectively. The seats have all been filled (approx. 500 of them), and you're forced to stand.
Note:
These "levels" have different names in lives that are not held within the communities. They start with the "Under" level, and I'm not too sure about all the levels, since I've only been to a few lives, and got booted back pretty quickly. You'll see 1F Block A, 2F Block D etc, etc.
So what does this all mean and what difference does it make?
You'll still see the same quality of the broadcaster's video and audio no matter which section you are in. (Of course, unless you're a Premium, in which case you'll have excellent video, provided there's any.) However, it does affect what comments you see - you only see the comments of everyone who's also in your section of the live.
The broadcaster can also only see one section's comments at any one time, the default of which is the seating area, which is why that area's usually preferable.
Previously, it was only possible for the broadcaster to see the comments of the seated listeners, but this has been changed of late. They can now travel between sections by manually selecting it via a drop-down list.
So don't despair that your comments won't be seen at all because you're in Tachimi! Some make it a habit to switch between them every now and then, e.g. Producer G.
And then you have people who neglect their seated listeners, e.g. Pokota xD;;
I keep getting kicked out! (飛ばされた！)
Premiums get priority in seats because they're paying members. Say for example you get into clear's live within the first 6 seconds and snag a seat. If you're not a premium, there is an absolute guarantee that you'll be kicked out of that seat by a premium member before he's so much as breathed, and when you're back in, you'd have jumped to Tachimi A/B or even C.
There are cases where when you get back in, you still manage to get a decent seat (An actual seat, low number A-seat etc), even though there might be 13 984 people in there.
That's because that seat has just been vacated, and you just happened to snatch it up.
This isn't so lucky for free members, because since you're not a paying member you just get booted right out.
It's all a matter of luck, and at times you might find yourself wishing for a Tachimi C spot so that you won't get kicked out so often.
Note:
Premiums can still get Tachimi seats if they're not quick enough, as the seating area is limited. You might see the occasional プレミアムなのに・・・ (Even though I'm a Premium...). Yeah, they were just a biit slow.
I'm blocked out and can't get back in!!
The community, in accordance to its level, has reached its capacity for holding listeners.
However, for those who own high-levelled communities, this limit actually gets slowly increased over time.
Next to the listener count, there will be the kanji for "full house" when the limit has been reached. After awhile, a number will appear, perhaps "6 more seats..", decreases down to 1, back to full house, repeat.
If I've missed out on anything, or my wording is just too dodgy and incomprehensible, please do comment me so I can improve this guide! Hope this helps people somehow.

Oh, btw, do you know why some utaite can prolong their lives without paying money? I mean, Mi-chan said that he didn't need to pay money for it and he can go on for 6 hours if I'm not wrong because his community was something (<-I didn't catch what the somehing was) Just asking ^^a

You can see this list in Mi-chan's community.
Clicking this -> その他の特権 (Additional privileges)
The following will come up:

割り込み割引（600pt→0pt）

To get the points you need to extend sessions and make reservations etc, you need to pay for them. But see all those point reductions to zero? Because he's so popular, he's got enough premium members to gain him the privilege of getting those services for free! =v=
